About Alan Sue

Now I photograph mostly for myself, sometimes for the University of Chicago and occasionally for other clients.

My most recent show was at Elmhurst College in 2019 where I had a large solo exhibition of both my ice pictures and photographs of China. The work was produced over a 40 year period but I’m not ready for a retrospective yet.

During 2019 I also had a solo show of my work at Rare Next Gallery in Chicago.

My first exhibit was in 1974 at Southern Illinois University. Yes, a lot has happened between now and then. I look to the future.
